What is the standard attire for Festival del Sole events?

Attire for most events is “Napa style” – nice but casual, for luncheons and dinners alike.  For evening men typically wear a sport coat, with or without a tie as they prefer.  There are two exceptions to this general rule this season:

For Far Niente’s 125th Anniversary celebration, coat and tie for the men is the requested attire.  On July 19 for the festival’s 5th Anniversary Gala, the spirit of the evening calls for white or light-colored jackets for gentlemen, and elegant white attire for ladies.  Shoes suitable for walking — on grass and graveled paths as well — are recommended for both nights.

Wraps in anticipation of cooling temperatures are suggested for all evening events.
