The weeklong schedule also includes art exhibitions, educational activities, and free community concerts showcasing talented young performers. Festival events take place at some of the most stunning venues throughout the Napa Valley.

Since its inception in 2006, over 30,000 have attended Napa Valley Festival del Sole concerts and gala events.

The fourth annual Napa Valley Festival del Sole runs July 17 through July 25, 2009.

“A feast for the senses” –The New York Times, 2008

Festival del Sole — a star-studded extravaganza that in just three years has become one of the hottest tickets on the global classical music circuit.”  - Diablo Magazine, 2008

The Festival is not just about music… it’s also a celebration of food, wine, art, hospitality and Napa high style — which has become synonymous with the very best of life. This elaborate and elegant Festival is rich in content with stars of the concert world who love performing at this venue as much as the audiences love hearing and seeing them. –Nob Hill Gazette, 2008

Violinist Joshua Bell brought down the house.  Pianist Christopher Taylor worked through a two-hour Messiaen epic.  And Thomas Keller's French Laundry restaurant offered a six-course, $500-a-head tasting menu [with] wines from the Grove Street and Peter Paul vineyards.  The new Festival del Sole in California's Napa Valley, a weeklong celebration of music, art, food and wine, entered Day Four. - Bloomberg News, 2006

If the French city of Cannes can have a world-class film festival; Glyndbourne, England, its world-renowned opera festival; and Cortona, Italy, its multi-faceted, international Tuscan Sun Festival, then why not something comparable in our own world-class San Francisco Bay Area? The results [are] the Festival del Sole in the Napa Valley. -The Oakland Tribune, 2006
